Falken WILDPEAK AT3W Reviews
The WILDPEAK A/T is engineered for adventure, any time and in any weather. The tyre combines aggressive
Key Features
- HEAT DIFFUSER TECHNOLOGY - In the lower sidewall dissipates heat to protect the internal tyre components. Keeping this critical area of the tyre cool ensures vehicle stability even when towing or carrying heavy loads.
- 3D CANYON SIPE TECHNOLOGY - Interlocks the shoulders to resist wear from high torque as well as providing additional handling stability.
- RUGGED AND RIGID TREAD BLOCKS - Feature support ramps and step?down features that provide tread pattern rigidity in the contact patch, enhancing vehicle stability and handling while also preventing stones from becoming trapped in the grooves.
- AGGRESSIVE UPPER SIDEWALL - Along with offset shoulder blocks protect the tyre from sharp rocks and provide additional off-road traction at low tyre pressures or in off-camber situations.

Since fitting I have travelled the GCR (twice), Simpson desert ( twice ) Sandy Blight track, Oodnadatta track, Flinders ranges, Googs track,VIC High country and various other tracks that escape my memory at the moment. The Falkens have never let me down and I have never been dissatisfied with their performance.A great all round tyre.

Bought a full set of 5 tyres before we left for our full-time touring of Australia. These tyres have done 95000kms so far and still have about 5mm on the rear and 10mm on the front tyres (didn't rotate). We tow a 3 ton caravan and have travelled most of the worst roads in Australia. And these tyres have been brilliant. Spent 3 months running 12-15 psi on the beaches near Exmouth, and was unstoppable.Did get one flat after 50000 KMS when we made it to Dubbo and got a nail in the tyre, I plugged it myself and no issues a year later.Couldn't recommend these tyres more.

- Impressive tread wear, reckon I’ll get 150,000km out of this set. - terrible wet weather performance - still have @ 8-9mm of tread and incredibly loose in wet weather.- weak sidewalls, very easily stacked.- good load carrying - nice side bites Overall would purchase again.

Great tyres, similar noise to stock road tyres but performance in the wet, on dirt tracks, over country road pot holes and the beach superb. Unfortunately I got caught out in an unexpected deep snow fall in Armidale ( b78), August 2025 and the tyres performed exceptionally. Love these tyres

Magnificent tyres. Still 10mm tread after 25000km, 95% of the time towing a caravan.

Recommended by my tyre guy, replaced terrible Maxxis Razrs. Cant believe the difference! These stick on the bends, in the rain and around the farm. Won't be going back to the Maxxis that's for sure.

I've given a low rating on tread wear and value for money due to lack of support from the tyre dealer in Perth and Falken. I'm in a good sizeable 4WD club in which some members have AT3W tyres that achieve 60,000+ km even when towing. I wanted critical understanding of why I achieved only about 30,000km in say 12 months from my rear tyres. Tyres are worn and even have cracks/splits in them. I assume I'm doing something wrong but all I got from dealer was ducking and weaving without any valuable advice (Quote "But you're doing off-road driving"!!) and no-show from Falken rep on 2 scheduled occasions. Based upon others' good experience I would have bought these again but will now try an alternative.

About to reach 2 years with these tyres, they are absolutely amazing tyres, they can handle anything thrown at them! I have full trust in the capabilities of these tyres. So far, we've done approximately 65-70k kms on these tyres and they're only halfway through their tread depth. We've driven mostly country roads and sealed highways, but also dirt tracks, unsealed roads and flooded roads and it has handled beautifully. I cannot fault them. Super quiet, only had one puncture due to debris in driveway.

first thing first.. Thank you very much to be part of this.... My final action was made because of this page. My name is Angel.. I live in Central America Panama. Our climate is very hot as australias climate is... I own a 2022 land cruiser Prado 150 Vx Grade.... but our spec is different Than what you get.. I do get the 2.8 Diesel. but no Emisions controol... So no DPF.. no ADBLUE... so mine doesnt have any problems in that department with the class action lawsuit...Interestingly mine does Come with KDSS + Rear Locker + Multi Terrain Select + Crawl Control... but NO REAR AIR SUSPENSION and NO ADAPTIVE VARIABLE SUSPENSION... mix the fixed dampers and coils + KDSS and the Ride is honestly CRAP too much vibration for anything.... dont get me wrong i love my prado.... I did sell the 19in wheels and bought some 17in wheels from a Toyota 4runner TRD Offroad Premium....Im runing 265/65R17 116T EXTRA LOAD Falken Wildpeak AT3w bought on January 4 2025.... the biggest problem ive had since day one was tire presure.....Prados use 29psi on cold weather measurement... but they delivered my Falkens with 35psi... and let me be honest.... I just couldnt stay with that pressure... to much vibrations and jumps..... i just cant explain how uncomfortable the ride was... next day i lowered them to 32 psi.... then the next day to 30ps1... wasnt sure... and went up again to 33.... couldnt..... so went back to 29... and literally is what i have been running since... thing is with that presure i do see a substantial increase on fuel economy... Prado usual result is 12.4L/100km.. that has been the city average since the last 2 years... Ill be back later on.... For now im skeptical of the tire.... I bought a set of pirelli scorpions HT... yes HT... made in brazil... i will not go back to those tires... 6month and very weak in wet... so for now.... Love the looks... but not sure on the ride quality.... may my car had the AVS and thins would be very very different... for now..we will see

Best tyres I have had on this Jeep Grand Cherokee. In the past, I have had different sets of Cooper AT3, Cooper HT, Bridgestone HT. They all had a tendency to let the rear of the Jeep slip in wet roundabouts, so had to take extra care during those conditions. These Falken AT3W are the first tyres on this car that hold on in wet roundabouts, even with a bit of throttle applied. Very confident in these tyres. A little bit more tyre noise than the previous Bridgestone Dueler HT's, but then again these are proper AT tyres. Really happy in this choice of tyre for the Jeep, and will certainly buy again.
