These came standard on my Hilux. After 45000ks they had heaps of tread left but they had become downright dangerous in the wet. Despite having traction control and stability control I managed to spin the car out when going through a roundabout in Sandy Bay. I wouldn’t recommend these tyres

Have had these factory tyres since buying the car at 12 months old in 2013. Have done many lengthy interstate highway trips, one towing a trailer, but mostly suburbs-to-city motorway commuting, and a little offroading on occasion. Although mileage is low on my car anyway, the tread is still good 8 years on. I'm very happy with their durability and they have performed well in the wet until recently. Only replacing them now due to their age and that they're just starting to get a bit slippy, activating the traction control feature so it's time to upgrade for safety

Great wear, 50,000km so far and hardly look touched . Ride is a bit firm and can be loose in the wet so need to be cautious if raining.

Used them mainly for daily commute on sealed roads and weekend off road, a good match to my usage

Can see why they're standard fittings on many cars- their dry road performance and low road noise is great but their wet weather performance is rubbish, so bad that I won't let anyone drive the car in the rain. As a consequence I haven't yet taken the car off road- I just have no confidence. I have only traveled 3,000km on these tyres but they're being replaced.

Car has 223,500Km. I am just about to replace my AT22 now. I'll give the AT20's a shot on the third set.

Tyres came stock standard with my BT50 and I didn't change since I have been offroading only rarely since purchasing in 2017. They have performed ok but will be upgrading very soon. Just doing my research on Tyre Review first.

Sure footed in the dry, but throw a bit of moister at them on bitumen and the confidence is pulled right back. 4x4 on slightly muddy fire trail was enough to realise I wouldn't be able to tackle any great obstacles with these type of tyres. Did a bit of beach driving on firm sand and seamed alright.

I just purchased a new Ford ranger late last year and straight away started looking at other tyres to upgrade too. But a conversation with my brother made me pause and give the grand trek At22 a chance. Now 10000kms I have a much better appreciation of these tyres and can understand why they are chosen by Ford as a tyre to put on their new vehicles. Highway driving is a breeze and road noise is almost non existent, which is to be expected from these very mild all terrains. Off road use has been limited so far but I had no issues driving on gravel roads and dealing with a few water crossings. However, the tracks would be barely considered 4wd tracks. My big issue with these tyres is wet weather handling. When driving on wet roads I have to really back off the gas for fear of the rear end of the vehicle slipping out around corners. As well as nursing the throttle at stop lights to prevent wheel spin. All in all though a solid tyre for a factory tyre and I will be holding onto them until I get my monies worth.

laughing at the clueless ford ranger newbie drivers. complaining these tires are bad in the wet. You bought a work car don't know how many times I have heard all seen ute drivers spin out in the wet. Maybe you could work out the car was designed to have work gear in the back 'You know weight' throw 200kg of sand bags in the back and it will preform as designed. And like a miracle the tires will preform great in the wet..
