Cooper AT3-LT Reviews

Tyres are used for a mix of highway and gravel driving with about 50/50 each. Tend to be a bit noisy on bitumen, grip on dirt roads very good,on wet roads not so good. Tread after 35000kms is around 50 to 60% so should get 75000-80000 which is very acceptable. The one big drawback is the price , I don't believe they are any better than some cheaper reputable brands.

We live in regional Qld, we need to know & have confidence in our tyres. Coopers have always provided us with this confidence. Our tyres have never let us down, whether on wet or dry roads, mainly dry currently! We know our $ spend will always be worth it, our tyres keep us safe & alive, we count on it....

These tyres have been great, low noise for an All Terrain tyre. I dont drive in mud, mainly gravel roads & beach sand. They have been great & tread wear has been minimal. They are fairly expensive but you get what you pay for. I'd buy them again for sure. 

Currently, I have 80,000 kms up, and possibly another 20,000 kms left on the tread. Couldn’t think of a better tyre.

Purchased 4 of these tyres at considerable cost after doing months of research and comparing brands. Was very impressed with the service from the Cooper retailer at Geebung who I couldn't fault. I had the tyres for approximately 2 weeks when i woke up to a puncture one morning. I immediately thought great, at least I'm dealing with a company who apparently backs their quality. Sadly that was not the case with Coopers in Australia. It turns out the puncture is apparently on the shoulder of the tyre where it meets the side wall so is considered unrepairable. Not a great feeling when you lash out over 14 large bills for a product touted as one of the best but sh*t happens. A simple trip to the dealer and sadly my pain does not end there. As i said the service from the retailer was great and the lip service from Coopers did nothing but prove to me to me the 20% Stronger Side Wall = Puncture Resistance and Peace of Mind was all marketing bull. Long story short read all the reviews and try to deal with a manufacture that match their quality with their service.

We use Coopers at work on our mining vehicles and was very impressed with off road handling, grip as we work them hard in blue rock, mud, clay and highway use. So naturally I upgraded my ute with Coopers with confidence.  My ute is the farm vehicle, the off road 4x4 animal and the daily driver. Happy to continue using Coopers tyres. 

We have had Cooper tyres twice now, and have been very happy with their endurance, performance and strength on many dirt roads, 4 wd driving as well as bitumen roads. No flat tyres, no punctures or staked side walls. Got 85000+ out of both sets despite daily dirt roads and mountain terrains. Then we couldn’t get Cooper Tyres in a limited time span so had to purchase a competitor tyre. Have staked 2 tyres on separate occasions, have had punctures and longevity is poor compared to Coopers tyres despite similar driving terrains. I think that sums up the comparison, easy to see which is our favourite and which we would never  purchase again. Cooper tyres rock!

Purchased the AT3 to wrap on my Allied wheels. Straight away tackled Fraser Island effortlessly aired down to 16psi. Plenty of long distance highway driving very quiet and comfortable. 

They've done 89,000km so far and still have half the tread left. Had no issues with them. Awesome tyres, will definitely buy again.

I have done everything in these tyres from long highway drives, riding curbs in the city, powering up sand dunes, wading through mud, crawling up rocks and they have not let me down once!  They’re durable and perform well, your car is only ever as good as your tyres and so I’ve got GREAT car!

Only had them for a little while, but am super happy with the  performance they have done so far
