I commute about 300km a day from Morisset to Frenchs Forest and after doing over 33,000km in 9 months, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres have been brilliant.
"They have coped really well with long motorway driving and still feel stable and confident in both dry and wet conditions. Even in heavy rain, the grip has been impressive and the car feels planted to the road.
Surprisingly, they are also comfortable for a performance tyre and not too noisy for daily commuting. After so many km, I can say honestly that they have been worth it and I would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely awesome tyres. Very very good wet weather performance especially with braking. They start to stick quite well when you get a bit of heat into them. They also hold up well for longer spirited drives.

These replaced Dunlop SP Sport 01(J)s. They had done about 30,000 kms and were at about 3 mm which was good wear given the weight and performance of the XF. The Dunlops were just marginally quieter (different harmonic) and very slightly softer riding, but that’s really splitting hairs, In all other respects the Michelins are far better tyres. Grip, particularly rear grip in the wet, is greatly improved and the car feels much more planted through corners. Most of all, the steering is way better. With the Dunlops you felt like you were overcoming the shoulder as you turned into a corner, but the PS4 is delightfully linear and a great complement to the Jaguar’s excellent steering weight and feel. I doubt they will last as long as the Dunlops (which were about the same price as the Michelins given the deals available at the time I replaced them). I’ve read that the PS5 is very similar to the PS4 but with better wear, so that’s where I’ll go next time. Highly recommended.

Excellent tyres that do everything very well as per their reputation and purchased under a "buy 3 get 4th free" deal so great price but they did not wear as well as expected (I would expect the Sport 4S to be soft and low wear but not the Sport which were supposed to be more for general use with a sporty edge. The new Sport 5 is suppose to correct the tyre wear issue so I am now undecided wether to go with them or try out the Goodyear F1 Sport which are much cheaper?

After changing from the Pilot 3 thought these would be better, however found out not so as in the wet they are not that good, could be the quality as these were chinese made vs german made for the 3's.

The OEM tyres were quiet and had reasonable grip in the dry but were terrible in the wet, always squirming and feeling like they were going to let go. But with our new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, the grip in dry and wet is amazing. By far the best tyres we have ever had and the price was much better than expected.
