These tyres were recommended to me by a close friend and I was hesitant to put a MT on my ute but I am extremely happy with the Toyos not one puncher great off-road grip and they have never let me down. Tyre wear is a bit quicker than a AT due to there soft nature but still great for a MT road noise is quiet and awesome for a Mt as well I have had these on the beach mud rocks and even got super stuck on the holland track in one of the car swallowing bog holes but with the winch and my Toyos she pulled right out. Bad bits they are expensive and the tread life isn’t great but that’s pretty common for a Mt radial good bits grip grip and more grip great on road performance and tyre noise is awesome on the highway I would 100% recommend these to a friend and will get another set sometime in the future.

Great off-road been bogged in some very sticky situations without recovery gear and can positively say that without the Toyo open country MT’s I would’ve been calling in the big guns for sure, punishing them on rocky country has been no problem having had no punctures or tread damage, An all round tough tyre made for the Aussie environment and all it can throw your way! plus the comfort and style of on road driving without the howling!

tyres have stood up to the harsh gravel roads and wear really well on the asphalt and don't damage your fuel economy, and you don't need earmuffs to be comfortable with them in the car. I've done 60,000km and they still have enough tread for another 10,000, they are excellent offroad in mud especially

From outback NSW across QLD and in to the NT on gravel dirt and highway 30000ks and they are buggered had one blow out at 120 to be honest the only good thing about the toyo mt is they are round from been let down time and time again from low traction off road and they make the Ute feel like it's floating on the road but hey what dosent work for me may be perfect for someone else

Take a good beeting i do alot of short gravel roads and tracks every day so I'm allways at road pressure. There is some damage to the tred from the gravel and hard road driving i do a bit of towing as well and seem to do really well for a muddie. With what i do i probably should of got all terains but I'm thinking about getting a set to go on my old 18 inch rims. I had a set of genural AT2s and they were great until they started loosing chuncks of tread still got 70k out of them though

I've been running these tyres since 2007, after going through numerous brands and tyoes of tyres nothing has done a good a job as the toyo open country MT, I've  always had really good tread wear, puncture resistant. I wouldn't consider changing brands or type of tyre unless they where given to me for free as why change something that has proven itself time and time again

I did a lot of research and decided on these tyres as I wanted a) a tyre with an aggressive tread pattern to offer great traction b) a strong bulletproof carcass and sidewalls and c) durable and long lasting tread life. These tyres ticked all those boxes for me. I use my 4wd mainly for weekends away. My typical trips take me into national park and state forest and I enjoy tackling difficult tracks which generally involve off-camber deep ruts, rock steps and sharp rock and protruding tree roots and at times slippery clay and mud. These tyres have eaten it all up easily and never let me down. The sidewalls in them are like iron, I’ve never had any sidewall tears, slices or punctures. Traction is very good, wheel spin kept to an absolute minimum. As with any design there are compromises; as these tyres are so strong they are heavy and the ride on them is stiffer Highway or All-Terrain tyres. They do also produce more noise on road, it’s nothing horrible but you can hear them hum at highway speed. I don’t notice it too much anymore but it’s something to consider if you really prefer your tyres to be dead silent.
